The Audi TT Quattro Conversion to Electric Vehicle

So i decided a couple years ago that i wanted to convert a car to an electric vehicle. I wanted something i could buy for relatively cheap although i also wanted it to be a good looking car that i would be willing to drive year-round.

The first generations of the Audi TT was an easy choice for me. Its a great looking sports car (actually still like the first gen better then the newer ones) and i can get them for cheap.

I looked for one with the highest miles/km's on it but still in relatively good shape and got real lucky! i ended up picking this one up for $3800 Canadian Dollars that had over 277k km on it.

When i was driving it back from the city i bought it from which was in another Province, i had so much fun driving this amazing sports car that i decided i would keep the ICE until something major happened to it that would require me to pay a lot of money to fix.

Well that happened when my clutch began to really wear and just moving it forward was a real problem. Time for the Conversion!!!
